Alanya Boat Tour is one of the best things to do in Alanya

After the pick up from the last hotel we come down to marina by bus. We get on the boat and start our cruise on the shining clear Mediterranean Sea.

Highlights:

First we see shipyard which is 56 m. long and 44 m. wide. It was built in 1228 by Aladdin Keykubat. There are five chambers and two of them were used as small mosque by the soldiers.
Shipyard was built to preventing possible attacks that may come from the east. While cruising close to inshore we observe the chambers of the shipyard, the gun post, the encircling walls of the castle, and the old Alanya houses in the Tophane district and proceed towards the south of the peninsula.

The scenery here takes you into different worlds. While observing on one side the Alanya Castle rising steeply 200-250 m. High and on the other side with a depth of the same order of the height of the Castle the dark blue waters of the Mediterranean.

After the boat comes closer to the rocks and about enter into a very large cave. Cave of the Pirates, this is the biggest cave of the region. This cave was used by the pirates to hide the girls they kidnapped or to store the loot they collected. There is a long tunnel in it. It is 10 m. wide and 5-6 m. high.

The next cave is the Lovers Cave which has 25 m. long tunnel. There are three tunnels and two of them have an exit, other one reaches Mint House on the west side of the castle. The cave named after the lovers who used it as a meeting point.

The Phosphoric Cave is the third of the sea caves. After carefully entering the cave the different colors sparkling from the bottom of the cave through the water are eye-catching.

There is Birds Cave as well after the Phosphorus Cave.

On the other side of the peninsula while cruising to Damlatas there is enter of Cleopatra Cave and it is believed that there is a pool where Cleopatra was bathing in.

The boat will be at Ulas Beach. We stop there and anchor close to the beach for lunch and swim-break. We will be served the meal on the boat. Lunch time is 13:00. About 14:00 we leave from Ulas Beach.
On the way to Alanya the boat will stop for to give few more swim-break. Return to port 16:00
